Gwen Griggs

Clients value Gwen's experience and insight into building strong legal foundations, handling complex transactions, and positioning for successful exit.  She has represented business owners and entrepreneurs through all stages of growth and transition, as well as holding various C-Suite level positions in Law, Administration, and Strategy.  Gwen has been recognized for her service to the community and economic development initiatives. She founded the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center and GrowJax, an initiative of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce serving second stage business owners ($1m - $50m revenue, 10-99 employees) and currently serves on the board of the Association for Corporate Growth.  Gwen is an alumna of Leadership Jacksonville’s 2005 class.

Gwen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Florida and a Juris Doctor the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, with honors, and is a Martindale Hubbell AV Preeminent® peer-rated attorney.  Gwen is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar.

WHITNEY HARPER

Whitney is known for delivering high-value service to her clients through her unique understanding of the intersection of law, operations, sales and strategy.  She has served as General Counsel to a high-growth company with private equity investment, guiding the organization through the legal and operational aspects of multiple mergers, acquisitions and resulting integrations, and providing legal and strategic counsel regarding the company’s operations.  Whitney has also held an executive-level role with responsibility for Operational and Commercial Strategy, focused on bringing increased value to the company and its customers through innovation and improved performance.  She began her career practicing labor and employment law and general litigation with a well-respected Jacksonville firm.   

Whitney is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Rethreaded, Inc. and also serves on the Board of Directors for Mission Air, Inc.  Whitney is an alumna of Leadership Jacksonville’s 2012 class.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor, with high honors, from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Law Review.  She is a Martindale Hubbell AV Preeminent® peer-rated attorney.  Whitney is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar.

LAUREN KILEY

Lauren is a methodical and strategic thinker, whose proactive approach helps clients quickly achieve meaningful results.  She brings a distinct legal perspective to ADVOS - her extensive experience as a prosecutor, appellate attorney, and law clerk gives her a deep understanding of jury trials, evidentiary hearings, and complex legal issues.  Lauren also has experience drafting corporate records, employee handbooks, and employment contracts and is well versed in technology agreements, privacy policies, and terms-of-use agreements.  

Lauren sits on the Board of Directors for Explorations V Children’s Museum in Lakeland, Florida.  She holds a Bachelor of Science, with honors, from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. Lauren is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar.

NICOLE PEREZ

Nicole adds value through her experience in health care and regulatory compliance and her passionate advocacy for clients.  Nicole has represented clients in contract negotiations, disputes and settlements, and mergers and acquisitions.  Nicole also counsels clients regarding the formation of new entities and the issues relevant to start-up and early-stage companies, including intellectual property matters.  She began her legal career practicing civil litigation with a well-respected Jacksonville firm.

She currently volunteers with agencies that provide services for at-risk children in the community including Children’s Home Society. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from Pace University and a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.  Nicole is a member of American Health Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association as well as a member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
